The funeral service of the late Judge David Majanja is underway at the Friends International Center on Ngong Road.
Family and friends have eulogized the late Judge as a humble person who was always ready to assist the family whenever in need.
His father Gerishom Majanja in his tribute described his son as a good example to his siblings and the community.
The siblings and cousins expressed a sense of loss following the demise of the judge who died while undergoing treatment at a Nairobi hospital. Judge Majanja joined the bar as an advocate in 1998 and joined the bench as one of the first cohorts of judges under the Constitution 2010.
He served in various courts including in the High Court at Homabay, Migori, Kisumu, Kisii, Commercial Tax Division, Milimani Civil Division. He was also serving on the Judicial Service Commission (JSC)
